Free Community Tennis Programs
Your child can learn to play tennis for free! NYJTL’s Community Tennis Program is for children and youth who are:
- Between the ages of 5 and 18
- At any level of tennis skill, from “never held a racquet before” to “tomorrow’s champion
- Anywhere in NYC, in parks and schools in all five boroughs
One of NYJTL's Community Tennis Programs takes place right here at the Cary Leeds Center for Tennis & Learning!
Tennis opportunities are available every season!
Beginning November 7, and running into March all children and youth ages 5 to 18 are welcome to be a part of the Winter Early Morning Program running indoors at the Cary Leeds Center on Saturdays and Sundays from 6am to 8am.
Racquets and balls are available for children to use during program hours. The only thing participants need to bring is their own water bottle and tennis sneakers.
District 75 (special needs) students have their own adaptive tennis program once a week at many Community Tennis locations.
